Lawyer Mama

Ah, I think we're all like this in a way. I keep looking at myself in the mirror and wondering when I grew up? How did that happen? It's not that I don't like who I am now, but we all make choices.

Nicely said. I don't really miss my old job, but I do sometimes miss my old self. Wouldn't trade my babies to have it back, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take it for a few hours here and there.

Come on over and be a rock star on our "stage" anytime you like ;)

I can totally relate! Life after baby is so different. I wouldn't trade it, but there are things about me that I feel are SO mom now. I feel too old for certain clothing styles or maybe I just have that extra baby weight and feel inappropriate etc. I think a lot of it has to do with my own stereotypes about motherhood. What IS "mom style" anyway? Why can't we redefine it?

It seems as if there isn't one neighborhood that has not been broken into at least one time over the last decade.
