Doesn't it seem crazy that something so "natural" as breastfeeding has to be so difficult. I was just reminiscing about the early days with my hubby when he kindly reminded me how much I hated bfing. I'd almost forgotten in the ease of the last few months.

Oh, and the sleepless nights never really go away, they just lessen. I must go get my fussy-should-be-asleep lil' man so later.

Having three boys always makes me feel like the old lady veteran with the moms who are just starting out. But I wish that experience made me feel more competent, confident. I think the hardest lesson to learn as a new parent is that you may read all the books and listen to all the experts, but at the end of the day - you have to do what works for you and your family. And that is the "right" thing.
